Busy parents, have you got a kid’s birthday party to plan? 🎈
What about a yoga party? 🤸
I love sharing yoga with children and running family retreats, and I also offer (a limited number of) birthday parties in Fleet and the surrounding areas of Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire!
It's not the yoga that you envision, there's more music, dancing, squealing, games, craft and general chaos but it's a lot of fun, and ends with wind-down time and a guided relaxation - you’d be surprised how willing young children are to calm and join in ✨
I provide the mats, blankets, eye pillows, speaker, props and everything needed for the craft table to make it as easy for parents as possible. I can also recommend a number of venues if you need help with that too!
If you have a 3-8 year old child and you're looking for something a little different, while I can't promise they will be zen by the end, I'd be happy to chat, share ideas and see if it's the right type of party for your little one.
Private yoga for children
I work with families on a private basis. Whether that’s family yoga to support emotional connection, physical wellbeing and bonding in your family home, or on a 1:1 basis with your child to meet their specefic needs, I’d love to chat.
I have experience working with children from 4 years to 18 years, in school settings, parties, retreats and in family homes, and I understand that every child is different! I have worked closely with children with anxiety, dyspraxia and ADHD, as well as regularly sharing yoga and mindfulness in an alternative provision school setting where every session can be very different.
Yoga is not an alternative to occupational therapy, school support, counselling or medicine but it’s proven to positively impact children in so many ways and can often complement and support existing therapies and routines in a child’s life.
When you choose a yoga teacher to come into your home, it’s important you feel confident they’re the right match for your family and your child, so please get in touch and we’ll arrange a call to discuss the needs, aims, hopes and goals. And, if I’m not the right person I may well be able to point you in the right direction!
